I wanted to create a publication that represents what it feels like to experience the COVID-19 pandemic. I keep saying to people that what we’ve been through will be a story to tell our children. 

Creating a publication that puts what we are going through into a physical object that represents that experience was my primary goal. The book is loose bound with no order to represent the chaos of several lockdowns and the multiple rules that changed often. We haven’t known what to expect during this whole experience and we have each had to abide by different rules and figure out different parts of our lives - be that negotiating losing our job, moving to online learning, not being able to see our loved ones or the hundreds of other things. 

This book is yours to make what you want of it, to read what you want to read. Everyone’s experience of COVID-19 has been different and therefore everyone’s experience of Normal Led To This will also be different.
