Ciaran is a London-based portrait and commercial photographer whose work draws from personal narratives shaped by identity, memory, and place. With a focus on storytelling through conceptual, often staged imagery, his photographs blend elements of surrealism, humour, and rich colour to explore the space between truth and illusion.

Inspired by his experience growing up gay and navigating questions of belief and belonging, Ciaran’s work subtly reflects the complexities of queer identity without being defined by it. He seeks to create images that feel at once intimate and uncanny - inviting viewers to both recognise themselves and reconsider what they see.

Ciaran has been making images since the age of 14, a passion that led him to study photography at London South Bank University. He is currently completing an MA in Commercial Photography at the London College of Communication (UAL), where he continues to develop his collaborative, idea-driven approach to visual storytelling.
