Shimmering is a book about looking instinctively and without questioning why.
Using my iPhone as a visual diary I’ve caught fragments of light, corners of rooms and moments that don’t demand attention. There’s no pressure, no expectation.
Together with these images, I have been writing morning pages - the daily practice of writing a stream of thoughts first thing each day. The thirty-two blank pages in this book provide enough space for daily writing for one month.
This book should feel like a sketchbook - loose, alive and open-ended. The elastic binding means you can rearrange, exhibit, glue in your own moments and write between the images.
