To begin this ongoing project, I’ve started with four self-portraits inspired by the animal patrol badges of British scouting. Created in collaboration with costume designers Issy Eynon and Sasha Agakova and stylist Nat Cole, each image reconstructs imagined scenes within natural landscapes. The work reflects a desire to reconnect as an adult with the freedom I experienced in nature as a child, spaces where I could explore my identity away from outside expectations, while questioning whether that sense of liberation can ever truly be revisited.
